Hawthorn Farm is in a very quiet, rural location and is very convenient for cyclists, as it's right on a national cycle route (which is also a road). We cycled out in both directions from the cottage, and did a round trip to Sandwich, as well as visiting the Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve, although confess to having electric bikes! Steve and Tina were great hosts, responding promptly at all times. Peartree Cottage was ideal, with a well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. There is a small sitting area as well as a small exclusive outside space, parking and bike storage: Perfect! Recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Cherry Tree Cottage. It's a beautiful country setting, surrounded by orchards which were blossoming when we were there (April). The cottage was warm and comfortable with a lovely sunny outdoor table that was perfect for a late afternoon tipple whilst watching the sunset and listening to the twitter of birds. Steve and Tina are very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back as it's a great location to explore the seaside towns and beaches of Whitstable, Margate, Broadstairs, Deal etc.

Lovely cottage to stay in, close to Canterbury and Sandwich for day trips out. The property was clean and warm with a well stocked kitchen. There is a nice play area for children too. Steve was very helpful in answering all our questions.

Our second visit in less than a year once again provided us with a fantastic few days break.  A great welcome from Tina and Steve to commence with, nothing too much trouble thereafter.  So much attention to detail has been considered in the design stage followed by a high level of construction fittings and furnishings.  Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the 'Perfect Setting' in lovely countryside surrounded by orchards.  We will most definitely be back. Where to begin? As a seasoned traveller who has lived in many different countries in Europe and Asia and who has roughed it and lived it up at both ends of the vacation spectrum, I can honestly say that our visit to HAWTHORN FARM COTTAGES made it into my top ten trips of all time.

Exceptionally well equipped, immaculately presented and thoughtfully designed for every comfort, our cottage was absolutely perfect. Taking our first holiday with a new puppy, I was understandably nervous but Tina and Steve made every effort to reassure me and to make our mini-break relaxing and invigorating. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The dog loved it: zoomies took on a new meaning in the spacious cottage... much bigger than our apartment at home! On-lead walking through the grounds was very exciting for her. Visiting the seaside was another first. There was also a dog-entertainment basket with treats and tips, in addition to the regular orientation manual.

Ideally placed, the cottages are the perfect setting for battoning down the hatches and escaping form the outside world or using as a base to explore the sights and activities available around and about. Very discreetly designed too, so you can have your own privacy even if they are fully booked. We have booked again for the summer (fingers crossed... lockdown permitting) but rest assured, Hawthorn Farm Cottages will be part of the annual R&R for this little family. I can not recommend highly enough.

PS. Go for the breakfast basket... local produce was totally yum and lasted us for 4 meals!

We have stayed here 3 times now first being for our 10th wedding anniversary in a Feb, then for my fathers birthday in a November then the last stay was a few weeks ago for my mum & dads Golden Wedding Anniversary in March, so all different months, it was just amazing, it’s like home from home, beautifully decorated cottages and lovely grounds.  Steve & Tina go above and beyond to make sure the stay is perfect would recommend this to everyone and can’t wait to stay again, Thank you for everything you do.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Steven and Tina's cottage, and it was truly a delightful experience. Steven and Tina are incredibly friendly and responsive hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The cottage itself is a haven of cleanliness and tranquility. The serene atmosphere, coupled with the lush greenery surroundings, provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was evident that the hosts take great pride in maintaining a peaceful and welcoming environment for their guests. We appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the accommodation, from the well-kept interiors to the beautifully landscaped surroundings. It truly felt like a home away from home.
