Cycling holidays at Hawthorn Farm

This corner of Kent is packed with wonderful cycling opportunities. The range of routes is quite extraordinary - from country lanes and chocolate box villages, to beach front promenades and sea walls... The well known Viking Coastal Trail is one of the most picturesque circular leisure routes in the area. Ride the 32 miles (51km) along the Kent coast through Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, and on to the surrounding villages. Or maybe enjoy the route in shorter sections, allowing you to spend time at the popular attractions on the way.

Hawthorn Farm is surrounded by orchards with lots of lovely walks and the National Cycle Route 1 literally on your doorstep. The cottage was lovely and well equipped with everything you need and the added bonus of a view of the donkeys! There is plenty of room outside and parking is easy. It is a very quiet location and excellent for stargazing at night! Marc C, February 2016
