A warm welcome awaits you at Hawthorn Farm Holiday Cottages

Following the announcement of the second lockdown, and the subsequent move to a 3 tier system in England, from Thursday, 5th November through to Wednesday 16th December (and possibly longer), we will only be allowed to accommodate key workers, those travelling for work, or anyone unable to stay in their own home during this time.

The good news is that we are still able to accept bookings for stays in 2021, as long as the government restrictions have been lifted. Bookings will continue to be subject to the few sensible precautions and conditions that we have been implementing since the first lockdown in March 2020. Most of these involve us working in the background to ensure your comfort and safety while you're staying here, but some need our guests' co-operation too. That said, we're determined to do all we can to make your stay at Hawthorn Farm just as relaxing and enjoyable as ever. To enable us to complete the more stringent cleaning requirements, the minimum stay is now 4 nights, and we will be closing each cottage for at least 32 hours after our guests have vacated.

We will be contacting everyone in advance to make sure you're happy with the new arrangements, but if you'd like an idea of the sort of changes that will be in place before you make your booking, please take a look here and also refer to our updated booking terms and conditions.

Nestled in the delightful hamlet of Ware in the quintessentially Kentish countryside (just 5 miles from Sandwich and 12 miles from Canterbury),
Hawthorn Farm really is the perfect destination for enjoying a traditional British holiday

Come and stay in one of our delightful self-catering holiday cottages, set in  a charming smallholding surrounded by apple, pear and blackcurrant orchards and residence to two adorable donkeys: Sam and Rosie. Although it's no longer a working farm, the owners' home and the four single storey self catering holiday cottages have all been tastefully converted from farm buildings, giving you a wonderful opportunity to step away from your busy lives at any time of year, and to enjoy the many attractions and places of interest that Kent, aptly known as "The Garden of England", has to offer. The area is extremely popular with golfers, walkers and cyclists, with many nearby golf courses, cycle routes and walking trails from gentle ambles along country lanes, to wild and windy cliff-top adventures...

We look forward to welcoming you to Hawthorn Farm very soon!
